How We Mount Permanent String Lights

Where a pergola, existing post, or covered structure already exists, we run tensioned cabling directly to it. Where there's nothing to anchor to — an open patio or a lawn area you want strung for entertaining — we install freestanding steel poles or wall-mounted anchor points engineered to carry the load and tension of a full run without sagging over time. Every span is calculated for wind and ice loading, not just how it looks on install day.

Once mounted, the run wires back into the same low-voltage system as your roofline, landscape, and high hat zones, so string lights get their own app-controlled dimming and color scenes — full brightness for a party, warm and low for a quiet night, or synced to a holiday scene with the rest of the house.
